Stick to earthy or neutral tones to blend with the forest and avoid startling wildlife. A rain poncho is handy for sudden drizzles, and it’s best to avoid bright colors or perfumes that may attract insects. With the right safari clothing, you’ll stay warm, protected, and enjoy the Sundarban experience to the fullest.

Please check the weather section below before packing your bags.

We will pick you up from Kolkata around 3:30 PM. Your nearest pickup location will be shared by our representative at the time of booking.

Drop-off will be in the late evening (approximately 9 PM).

Please plan your arrival and onward travel accordingly.

As our tour starts from Kolkata, the nearest airport is Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (Kolkata Airport). Kolkata also has major railway stations such as Sealdah and Howrah.

The Sundarbans has a tropical climate with three distinct seasons—winter, summer, and monsoon—and conditions can change quickly due to its coastal location.

Winter (November – February)
Pleasant and comfortable weather with lower humidity. Daytime temperatures usually range between 10°C and 20°C. Early mornings and evenings can feel a bit chilly, so light warm clothing is recommended.

Summer (March – June)
Hot and humid conditions dominate, with temperatures often ranging from 25°C to 42°C. Afternoons can be intense, so light, breathable clothing, sun protection, and hydration are important.

Monsoon (July – October)
Heavy rainfall and high humidity are common, with temperatures between 25°C and 35°C. Rivers and creeks often swell, and sudden showers are frequent. Waterproof gear is advisable.

Note: No matter the season, it’s wise to carry a light rain jacket, sun protection, and insect repellent, as weather conditions can shift quickly.

Important

We offer two types of room arrangements:

  • Single Occupancy – Enjoy a private room entirely to yourself.
  • Twin Sharing – Share the room with another member of the group.

Tour prices are listed on a per-person basis.

Absolutely not! This tour is for anyone who wants to experience the magic of nature up close. You’ll make new friends, collect priceless memories, and feel the joy of being truly connected with the wild.
No camera? No problem. Come as you are—leave with stories worth telling.

This tour is for YOU.

Always carry a government-issued photo ID (Preferably Aadhar Card/Passport) with you throughout your journey.

For foreign nationals, a valid passport and visa are mandatory for travel to India and entry into the National Park.

Please mention if you are fully vegetarian or have any food allergies at the time of booking, so we can arrange alternative meal options for you.

As Sundarban is a remote location, network availability may be limited. A basic Wi-Fi connection is available at the eco-resort.

If your goal is simply to enjoy the beauty of the national park and learn more about its wildlife, you don’t need to bring any special equipment.

However, if you’re joining this trip for photography, we highly recommend bringing your own camera. A mix of lenses—such as a zoom lens and a wide-angle lens—works best, while super-telephoto lenses are excellent for wildlife shots.

Smartphones can also be incredibly effective these days, and our representative can show you how to get the most out of them.
