Best Time for a Tiger Safari
- November – February: Cool, crisp mornings and excellent visibility — the classic tiger safari season.
- March – May: Hot and dry. Water sources shrink, drawing tigers out into the open — the best window for sightings.
- June – September: Most parks close for monsoon (check individual reserves — some, like Kanha’s buffer zones, stay partially open).
