Group Safaris
Fixed-date group departures across India and Kenya — share the safari, share the cost, never travel alone.
Why a Group Safari Works Better
A Group Departure is the most affordable way to do a small group adventure travel experience in the wild. Our Group Departures are fixed-date departures: couples and small groups share safari jeeps, stays, and expert guides, without the cost or hassle of planning a private trip from scratch. It’s a Group Tour built specifically around wildlife — not a bus full of strangers, but a small, focused crew chasing the same sightings.

Frequently Asked Questions About Group Safaris
Do I pay extra for a Group Departure as a single traveler?
No — our Group Safaris are priced per person with no single supplement, since you’re joining a shared departure rather than booking a private trip alone.
Is a Group Departure safe for someone traveling alone?
Yes — you’re never actually alone on a Group Safari; you travel with a small group of fellow wildlife enthusiasts, an expert naturalist, and a driver throughout.
What's the difference between a Group Departure and a Private Departure?
A Group Departure means joining a fixed-date departure with other travelers to share costs and company. A Private Departure means your own vehicle and naturalist on a schedule built just for you — more flexible, but at a higher price point.
Can couples or small groups join a Group Safari departure?
Yes — Group Safaris work for solo travelers, couples, and small groups alike. Everyone shares the same vehicle, guide, and fixed itinerary regardless of how they’re traveling.
How far in advance should I book a Group Safari?
4–5 months ahead is recommended for peak season departures, since Group Safaris run on fixed dates with limited seats — some, like our Sundarbans departure, do sell out.
Can I join a Masai Mara group joining safari as a solo traveler?
Yes — our Masai Mara departures are run as fixed-date group joining safaris, meaning you book a seat rather than an entire vehicle, and travel alongside other wildlife photographers and enthusiasts on the same dates.
What happens if a Group Safari departure doesn't fill up?
Nature+ departures are confirmed once minimum group size is reached; if a specific date is at risk of not filling, we’ll notify you well in advance with the option to shift to another confirmed departure or switch to a private safari instead.
Do all travelers on a Group Safari share the same itinerary?
Yes — everyone on a Group Safari follows the same fixed itinerary, safari timings, and route. If you want a customized schedule, a Private Safari would be the better fit.
No road is long with good company.
